CONRAD GRUNDY
Based in the UK's automotive heartland, Conrad is a self-taught artist dedicated to capturing the essence of the world's most iconic machines.
Artist and Founder
Following a period of creative disillusionment with traditional art boards, Conrad stepped away from the easel in 2018 to rediscover what truly moved him. He found that spark in the screams of a Columbo V12 at Curborough Sprint Course.
With a redefined purpose, he focused on the raw beauty of automotive design and returned to the studio, bypassing the traditional path to teach himself the intricate technicalities of art that truly spoke to him. What began as a personal exploration culminated in a pivotal exhibition at Thruxton, where his work earned the gaze of a childhood hero Tiff Needell.
Specialising in acrylics and the high-concentration discipline of pointillism, Conrad documents the pursuit of mechanical perfection through his art. Today, he translates the dreams of high-end collectors into heirloom-quality commissions.
Through a highly challenging, yet rewarding journey, Conrad has pivoted from enthusiast to a sought-after commission artist for a wealth of discerning collectors. With works featuring creations from specialist brands such as Lanzante, Singer Vehicle Design, Koenigsegg and Gordon Murray Automotive as well as the more traditional brands such as Porsche, Ferrari and McLaren.
